Yay! I haven’t done this in a while. I’m excited to share my cool findings with you!
- I found this the other day and instantly bookmarked it. As if you need more reasons to look at this article. The title itself does enough justice: 10 Health Reasons to Have Sex More
- I’ve been drinking a lot of beer lately. I really enjoy the taste and I find it so refreshing! But haven’t you always wondered about the different shapes of beer glasses?! WHY SO MANY? Thanks to Lifehacker’s cool video called “How to Give Your Beer the Right Glass and the Proper Pour, you too can be a sommelier of beer! I want a Samuel Adams “Perfect Pint” glass… so much science has gone into the discovery of that, it’s unbelievable! And, contrary to popular belief, I guess head is a good thing! Ladies, take note. The head traps aromatics and flavour!! Who knew?!?!
- Lifehacker is phenomenal. They have great tips on a lot of stuff. Read this article (click here) to find out why you should photograph everything you own in order to reduce clutter (on my lifetime to-do list), put lip balm under your nose (done it, thank you Blistex), and get rid of the ringing in your ears by using nasal spray. AWESOME!
- It’s articles like these (Bilingual children are less easily confused and are less likely to develop Alzheimer’s when they grow up; turn out to be better, multi-taskers) that make me want to enroll my children in 7 languages.
- Being a chemist, I like the organization of periodic tables, and enjoy these as well (click here) . I found #6, the storage of produce, really useful!
- Household vodka uses!!! The only thing I would feel bad about is wasting the vodka that I could be drinking. Cool nonetheless! And here’s the follow up to it, too. Because we didn’t have enough uses for it already.
- Aha! Willpower is NOT biologically limited. You only THINK you need a study break. So when you go to bed, the rest of us pulling all-nighters are laughing at you. Suckers. Read the science behind that here, thanks to the LabSpaces article.
- How to say no to others. A really good blog post I should probably take more seriously.
- The truth behind whole wheat and what it really means. Very interesting, if you like the whole healthy, whole wheat stuff. Mmmm, bread.
- I’m not huge into financial things like some of the friends I know, but here is a good article that sums it up nicely: Important Financial Truths You Should Always Remember. This is a great starting point for learning to care about your money, yourself and your future.
- I love random facts of uselessness. Here are 53 Crazy Laws that existed in the 1800s and 1900s. Some are still written in the books but not enforced. One of my favorites is the fact that in Eureka, Nevada, it is illegal for men who have mustaches to kiss women. Poor ladies in Movember :(
